Welcome to the QuiSci family - Lightning Love! On August 25th we'll be releasing Lightning Love's debut album November Birthday. This amazing pop album has been blasting out of our headphones non-stop for the past few months now. Since it's original self-release November Birthday has become the tour de force pop release in southern Michigan. Having a tour opening for The Von Bodies now under their belts, these Ypsi-dwellers, are breaking out in a big way!

Frontier Ruckus will be pulling a one night stand in their hometown of Lansing, MI this evening with William Elliott Whitmore at Mac's Bar. They won't be home for some time, so drop by and say "hello". To check out the rest of their tour dates click on their tours tab on the artists page.

As many of you may already know by now, Chris Bathgate is indeed sequestered away in the studio tracking for his new full length. You can follow his twitter feed (@chrisbathgate) for frequent studio updates. We'll of course keep you posted as more info becomes available.

Cotton Jones is currently finishing up the long awaited Rio Ranger EP; the third in their booklet EP series. For now, there is a very limited quantitiy of The Archery EP still available via our webstore. Be forewarned: once they're gone, they're gone.

Brian, our resident webber-net advisor, has been staying up into the wee hours working hard on a new website. It's been a long time coming but should be well worth it. Look for the new site to be up and running come the begining of May.

For those of you who where down at SXSW this year, we hope you all had fun. Qui-Sci will be making a proper return to Austin next year. For those of you who were at The Blind Pig in a Ann Arbor, MI last night, thank you so much for being awesome. There's nothing better then a packed house, and to see tons of fans packed right up to the stage. You guys rock!

Cotton Jones embarks on a east coast/midwest tour down to SXSW. The band will be out until early April. Date are listed here, but please check their MySpace for the most up to date info.
