Release Bio:
The ‘Big Bend’ EP is the third EP in a four EP series Drunken Barn Dance named after a national park. Located at the Texas-Mexico border, Scott says “Big Bend is a vast expansive landscape where you can create your own reality. This EP is about creating your own expansiveness and reality, whether it’s coping with the end of a relationship or creating a musical community, or knowing when it’s time to fight for a good cause.” Other EP highlights include “St. Russell,” which follows the line of Drunken Barn Dance songs of good vs. evil, and “Celebrate” - the first break-up song they’ve ever written.

Sellwood says, “I’ve bounced around and played music in LA, SF, and NYC, but I’ve felt most attached to the unbelievable talent and community (and party) of the Ann Arbor scene. It's somewhat isolated and free-standing, but I don't think a spotlight on it would change how anyone operates. These are the dedicated voices that inspired me to find my own, who will forever make me fist pump, weep and understand life more accurately. This one's for Chris Bathgate, Matt Jones, (Alfred) "Fred" Thomas, Tim and Jamie Monger (Great Lake Myths Society), Matt, Zach and Davey Jones (Frontier Ruckus), and Jim Roll."
